Whole Hog Package

Whole hog hanging weights range between 190-250 pounds.

$7.25 per pound hanging weight [carcass weight] plus processing fee.

1/2 hog hanging weights range between 85-125 pounds.

HOG CARCASS BREAKDOWN

With a market weight of 250 lbs and yield of 73.6%, the typical hog will a produce a 184-lb carcass. The carcass will yield approx. 140 lbs of pork and 44 lbs of skin, fat and bone.

Ham - 45 lbs, 24% of the carcass
25.5 lbs of cured ham, 2.3 lbs of fresh ham, 5.8 lbs of trimmings and 11.4 lbs of skin, fat, and bone

Side (Belly) - 34.9 lbs, 19% of the carcass
10-15 lbs of cured bacon, 5.8 lbs of spareribs, 9.1 lbs of trimmings and 1 lb of fat

  • Processing fee for BBQ Hogs is $0.28 cent per pound.
